Only those who have been in a show of the band can tell the feeling of participating in the event, all positive vibe and sensational songs that marked generations and still are ringing in the ears of passionate Brazilian Rock.
Charlie Brown Junior band was formed in Santos - São Paulo by the year 1992 where "Chorão" (Alexandre Magno Abrão - vocalist) and "Champignon" (Luiz Carlos Leão Duarte Júnior – bassist) invited "Renato Pelado" (drummer) and later "Marcão" (Marco Antônio Valentim Britto Júnior - guitar) and "Thiago Brown" (Thiago Raphael Castanho - guitar) this is the first formation of the band. The name of the band was created when "Chorão" had an accident where he hits a coconut water tent with Charlie Brown design (protagonist of the strip of newspapers and magazines "Peanuts") and the "Junior" came "Chorão" declared that time "they were children of the Brazilian Rock".

The first shows of the band were mainly in concerts and skateboard events around the year 1993 where the singer participated in the skateboard tournaments. The skateboard was a trademark of the singer "Chorão" accustomed to perform in shows on a skateboard. The musical style of the band got attention with their striking music, they created 10 studio albums and 06 DVDs. One of the first albums most successful was the "Price Short ... Long Term" (1999) with the releases - "Confiscation" - "Zoio de Lula" - "The price " - "Don’t let the sea swallow you". The DVD most successful was the "MTV Acoustic" (2003) with participation of special guests such as Negra Li (music – It’s not serious), Marcelo Nova (music - Today) and Marcelo D2 (music - Samba Makossa) . The last album was the La Familia 013 - number in reference to the area code for the city of Santos -the songs that had the greatest success in this album was "My New World" and "One day we meet". As this last album was released after the death of "Chorão" and "Champignon" the album had enough space in the music market.

The death of "Chorão" - On March 6, 2013 the lead singer of Charlie Brown Jr. (Chorão) was found dead in his apartment in the west of the city of São Paulo. The medical examination diagnosed the cause of death was an overdose of cocaine and alcohol with the death of "Chorão" the band got together and agreed that the band couldn’t continue without the famous singer and now they would be a new band to be called “A Banca”. This new band "Champignon" as the vocalist and another bassist (Lena Papini) came to add to the team. The first performance of "A Banca" was recorded in the Altas Horas television program on April 11, 2013. The death of "Champignon" - On September 9, 2013 the bassist of the former band Charlie Brown Jr. and singer of new band "A Banca" was found dead by his wife 5 months pregnant; in a room of his apartment where he kept musical instruments and used as a recording studio with a shot in the face. With the shooting noise condominium residents called the police. Many people say that the singer didn’t support the pressure the new band critical, depression and committed suicide.
Since 1992 - 2013 with changes in group members, 10 albums, 6 DVDs, concerts in Brazil and the world, Charlie Brown Junior band came to the end; with a fantastic repertoire, songs as themes of TV shows, sensational video clips, awards in music and a legion of fans who can’t get the honor the charisma and talent those magnificent musicians; but they had the honor of accompanying the career of one bests Brazilian Rock bands.
