History

Berlin was established in the 13th century and became the capital of the Kingdom of Prussia. Prussia grew and formed the basis of the German Empire in 1871. In 1945, when Germany lost the World War II, the country and Berlin was split into West Berlin and East Berlin by a huge wall. Later, in 1990, with German reunification, Germany and Berlin was one country and one city again.
